Greater Philadelphia Leadership Exchange Program Overview

The goal of the Greater Philadelphia Leadership Exchange is to develop leaders of business, civic, and government organizations into visionaries dedicated to making Greater Philadelphia a world class region. The 2008 program begins in April and consists of three mandatory components:

Orientation, Monday, April 28, 2008 — Participants will meet one another, hear an overview of the program and expectations, and be briefed on the Economy League’s initial research findings in support of World Class Greater Philadelphia.

Regional Exploration, June, 4, 5, and 6, 2008 — This active, experiential session will provide participants with a deeper understanding of our region and its challenges and opportunities prior to visiting Atlanta.

Metro Atlanta, September 24-26, 2008 — The culmination of the program is the visit to learn first-hand how Metro Atlanta's leaders collaborate to ensure regional prosperity and sound public policy. The trip includes tours of notable project sites, briefings on significant multi-sector efforts, and meetings with the region’s business, civic, and government leaders.
