Melissa Guerrero is an undergraduate student at Drexel University’s School of Economics, studying Economics and Public Health on the Pre-Law track. She recently joined the Economy League as a GPLEX Program Associate. She has a background in community health and prevention research, with experience in health data analytics and policy evaluation.
She is passionate about civic engagement through capacity-building efforts and legal work. Her studies have equipped her to utilize big data to help solve social and economic problems, with a focus on health and well-being as the driver for intervention.
When she’s not in class or attending a conference, Melissa enjoys watching new films, reading classic literature, and indulging in creative writing.
As a GPLEX Fellow, Melissa is part of a team creating an immersive and finely curated three-day conference in Philadelphia in October 2026 for Philadelphia’s most inspiring leaders.
