Saloni Tandon is the Director of Research & Analytics and Impact Manager at the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia, where she leads all internal and external research efforts to support inclusive, equitable, and resilient economic growth across the region. Her work focuses on applied research, policy analysis, and learning strategies that inform public decision-making and strengthen outcomes for communities and institutions.
Saloni brings over a decade of experience in the international development sector, while working as a management consultant where she supported governments, philanthropic organizations, and multilateral institutions. Her work has spanned financial inclusion, social protection, gender equity, and climate resilience, with engagements across India, Kenya, Indonesia, the Pacific Islands, and the United States. She has designed evidence-informed strategies, led program and policy evaluations, and helped organizations adapt through real-time learning.
At ELGP, she also supports the development of outcomes-based monitoring systems and contributes to efforts to expand civic data access and build capacity for data-informed governance. Saloni holds a Master’s in Social Policy and Data Analytics from the University of Pennsylvania, and a background in Rural Management and Economics. She is passionate about using research and collaboration as tools to advance equitable systems change.
